Competing in America’s Original Multi-Sport Adventure Relay Race
Celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year, Ski to Sea is the country’s original multi-sport adventure relay race. Every Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, 400-500 teams compete in the seven-leg event, starting at 4,300 feet on Mt. Baker and ending at sea level in Bellingham Bay. The race – and the outdoor Fairhaven Festival happening in parallel – brings the community from near and far (international teams regularly compete in the race) together to cheer on the racers.
